Following months of input from stakeholders throughout the Tri-County Board's service network, a Three-Year Strategic Plan was formally adopted at the Board's January 15 meeting.
The Strategic Plan is available to the public in PDF format. Paper copies are available for review at the Board's offices, 1100 Wayne Street, Suite 4000, Troy.
Tri-County Board Executive Director Mark McDaniel emphasizes that, even after formal approval, the Strategic Plan will remain a living, working document, adaptable to a changing environment. The Strategic Plan is the principal guide for the Board in its efforts to ensure access to mental health and recovery services in the Tri-County area.
The 2014-2016 Strategic Plan uses as a template a white paper published by the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA) titled "Description of a Good and Modern Addictions and Mental Health Service System." The white paper describes the components and relationships of an integrated, effective and efficient mental health and addiction services network.
