With a ribbon-cutting ceremony August 12 sponsored by the Darke County Chamber of Commerce, the Recovery & Wellness Centers of Midwest Ohio officially adopted its new name.
Through recent mergers, the former Darke County Recovery Services and the Mental Health Clinic Serving Darke and Miami Counties had become a single entity. In addition, the organization offers services in Preble County. The new name more accurately reflects the scope of services provided by the organization.
The ribbon-cutting ceremony was attended by Recovery & Wellness centers staff and Board members, Chamber of Commerce officials, Tri-County Board of Recovery and Mental Health Services, "We Are the Majority" youth group from Greenville High School, and local government officials.
