The local chapter of NAMI (National Alliance for Mental Illness) has scheduled two different support group meetings beginning in September.
The Family Support Group for family members of adults suffering from mental illness challenges begins Sept. 11 and will meet ongoing the second Thursday of each month, 7-8:30PM, at Shelby County Counseling Center, 1101 N. Vandemark Road, Sidney.
Caring for the Young Mind is a support group for parents and caregivers of youth suffering from mental health challenges. Caring for the Young Mind begins Sept. 18 and will meet ongoing the third Thursday of each month, 7-8:30PM, at Shelby County Counseling Center, 1101 N. Vandemark Road, Sidney.
