401 Work Hours

The office hours of the Tri-County Board Administrative Offices are from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday.  The Executive Director shall assign staff hours to ensure that these hours are covered. Requests for flex time or schedule changes should be made to the employee’s supervisor and their approval will be based upon the scheduling needs of the office.
 
Work schedules for staff who are assigned to work at non-administrative sites will be set based on the operating hours and staffing needs of the individual sites.
 
Salaried Exempt employees required to work more than 40 hours per week may request to flex the additional time off within that pay period keeping in mind that work deadlines and office coverage are a priority.
 
Salaried Non-Exempt and hourly Non-Exempt employees shall be compensated at one and one half times the employee’s regular rate of pay for actual hours worked over 40 hours per week per Policy 404 Payroll.
 
Employees that are required to remain on duty during their meal period shall have the meal period considered as part of their standard work day schedule.  Employees that are not required to remain on duty or on-site during their meal period shall not have their meal period considered as part of their work day schedule.
