Understanding Recovery Housing & Opioid Use Disorder will assist recovery housing operators increase their knowledge of local and national statistics related to opioid use disorder, and raise awareness of medication-assisted treatment.

Learning objectives:
  1. Learn local and national statistics on opiates
  2. Understand the differences among signs and symptoms of opioid use, withdrawal symptoms, and signs and symptoms of mental illness
  3. Understand uses and limits of Medication-Assisted Treatment (MAT)
  4. Understand best practices for integrating MAT and psychotropic medications within the recovery home
  5. Be aware of ethical boundaries when addressing relapse
  6. Learn about local resources
