Rules for Community Organizations Using the Tri-County Administration & Training Center Training Room, Conference Rooms, Guest Offices and Related Facilities

Purpose

These guidelines establish the appropriate use of the Training Room, Conference Rooms, Guest Offices, and Related Spaces within the Tri-County Board's Administration & Training Center, 1280 N. County Road 25A, Troy OH 45373. By utilizing this space, users agree to comply with the rules outlined below.

Scope

​This policy applies to all employees, contractors, and authorized personnel who access the Training Room, Conference Rooms, Guest Offices and Related Facilities. Access to working office spaces is restricted to Tri-County Board employees and guests accompanied by an employee, except as otherwise authorized by the Executive Director.

​Acceptable Use Rules

  1. Substance Use Prohibition Policy
    • The building, sidewalk areas, parking areas and grounds of the Tri-County Board Administration & Training Center is a Smoke- and Tobacco-Free facility. Prohibited substances include: smoking of any tobacco or tobacco-substitute products; smokeless tobacco or tobacco-substitutes (except those products prescribed by a physician); vaping devices; marijuana, THC, CBD, or THC-analog products (including those recommended by a physician); alcohol; or any other legal or illicit products whose use may result in intoxication.
  2. Access Authorization:
    • Only authorized individuals may use the training room.
    • Users must sign in upon entry and adhere to the designated schedule.
  3. Purpose of Use:
    • The training room is intended for official agency training, workshops, educational programs, and events organized by government and non-profit organizations.
    • Private events, social gatherings, or non-work-related activities are strictly prohibited.
  4. Equipment and Resources:
    • Users must treat all equipment, furniture, and resources with care.
    • Report any damage or malfunction promptly to the designated personnel.
  5. Network and Connectivity:
    • Users may connect to the agency’s Wi-Fi network for work-related purposes.
    • Unauthorized access to external networks or streaming services is not allowed.
  6. Noise and Disturbances:
    • Maintain a quiet and respectful environment.
    • Avoid disruptive behavior that may disturb others.
  7. Cleanliness and Hygiene:
    • Keep the training room clean and organized.
    • Dispose of trash properly and leave the room in good condition.
  8. Security and Confidentiality:
    • Do not share sensitive or classified information within the training room.
    • Lock the room when not in use and safeguard agency materials.
  9. Food and Beverages:
    • Consuming food or beverages is allowed, but users must clean up afterward.
    • Avoid spills and stains on furniture and equipment.
  10. Emergency Procedures:
    • Familiarize yourself with emergency exits, fire extinguishers, and evacuation routes.
    • In case of an emergency, follow agency protocols.
