The Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders, Fifth Edition (DSM-5) is the newest edition of the American Psychiatric Association’s classification and diagnostic guide. The DSM is a key reference for treatment recommendations, as well as for coding and billing.
The fifth edition (DSM-5) contains many important organizational, classification and other structural changes from its predecessor. Understanding the impact of these changes is critical to the practice of behavioral health professionals. The session will be from 9:00am to 4:00pm. Lunch will be provided. Each participant is encouraged to bring a copy of the Desk Reference to the Diagnostic Criteria from DSM-5™. Copies will not be provided. Seating will be limited. Register by Monday, September 21. Fee for the training is $75 per person. The training is provided at NO COST to Staff of Tri-County Board contracted agencies, and New Creation Counseling Center staff and contractors. Government agencies may submit a Purchase Order and we will invoice. PLEASE DO NOT SEND CASH Enrollment will be limited. Submission of this form does not guarantee a seat in the training. You will receive confirmation by email. We reserve the right to cancel or reschedule a session based on enrollment or other factors.
