505 Smoking and Tobacco Use

Supersedes:
In order to protect the health and safety of employees, board members, and visitors, the Tri-County Board prohibits smoking and the use of all tobacco products including tobacco alternative products in all board owned and leased buildings and vehicles.
This includes all smoke producing tobacco products as well as tobacco use of any kind. This also includes tobacco alternative products including but not limited to e-cigarettes or any type of vaping products whether or not they contain nicotine.
FDA-approved tobacco/nicotine cessation aids, such as nicotine patches and gum, are not prohibited.
This policy applies equally to all employees and board members as well as to our customers and visitors.
