Salary. Salaries of employees are set by the Executive Director. Salary and benefit levels of the Executive Director are set by the Board.
Raises. Raises for all employees will be determined by the Executive Director. For each new yearly budget, the Executive Director will recommend an amount to be added to the salary line item for employee raises. The Executive Director will allocate raises to individual employees from this additional money. Factors taken into account in determining pay increase are up to the discretion of the Executive Director, and may include increase in cost of living, performance, and/or market value of the skills the employee possesses. Typically, raises will take effect on July 1 of the new fiscal year.
Raises for the Executive Director are separately determined by the Board.
Other Compensation. Other compensation for employees will be negotiated by the Executive Director within the approved budgets. Such compensation may include, but is not limited to: moving expenses, temporary housing costs, interviewing costs, or educational or automobile allowances outside of existing Board policy.
Other compensation as outlined above for the Executive Director will be separately negotiated by the Board.
