Revision Effective: March 18, 2015
Reviewed: Supersedes: #145 April 20, 2022

Food and beverages may be purchased for Board meetings, committee meetings, or other Board sponsored events such as trainings or seminars when circumstances warrant it.  Such circumstances may include: planned meetings which will be lengthy (all day events or those which will run more than 2 hours); or meetings which are scheduled at a time as to interfere with a meal time for  the attendees.

Under such circumstances, the Executive Director may authorize the purchase of food and beverages for attendees of the meeting or event.  Alcoholic beverages may not be purchased with public funds.
