NAMI Ohio's NAMImobile stopped at the Troy Daily News offices in downtown Troy June 2. Staff and volunteers from NAMI of Darke, Miami and Shelby Counties, the Tri-County Board of Recovery and Mental Health Services, SafeHaven and other agencies were on hand to meet with reporters and talk to the public about mental health services in the area. The bus is on a statewide tour of 100 cities and towns in every county of Ohio this summer. Future stops include Greenville and Sidney. NAMI is the National Alliance for Mental Illness which has both state and local affiliates. Read more about the purpose of the visit. Comments are closed.
