Criminal Justice Social Worker/Peer Recovery Supporter - Darke County Municipal Court

​Darke County Municipal Court is in search of a full-time Criminal Justice Social Worker/Peer Recovery Supporter (PRS).  The Municipal Court is a high paced, energetic office with compassionate and dedicated personnel.

Job description includes (but not limited to) meeting with court participants, tracking and monitoring their court progress, data entry, performing home visits, attending out-of-office appointments with court participants, collaborating with local resource agencies and providing life skills training.

The ideal candidate would have at least an associate degree in social work with a desire for criminal justice or a peer recovery supporter (PRS) certificate, is detail-oriented, have computer skills and experience with Word, Excel and Emails. We are looking for a candidate with a positive personality/outlook on life, ability to work as a team, and willingness to be part of the solution. The ideal candidate must be self-motivated and an independent worker with exceptional communication skills (in-person, phone and electronic). This is a full-time position of 40 hours/week with county benefits (PERS, vacation/sick time accrual and holiday pay). Hourly pay will commensurate with experience and qualifications of the applicant.

Darke County Municipal Court is in search of a full-time Probation Officer. The Municipal Court is a high paced, energetic office with compassionate and dedicated personnel.

Job description includes (but not limited to) meeting with court participants, tracking and monitoring their requirements to satisfy court orders including performing urine screens, data entry and electronic ankle bracelet monitoring.

The ideal candidate would have at least two (2) years of experience as a probation officer, firearms and taser qualified, organized, detail-oriented, have computer skills and experience with OCSS, Word, Emails, and Courtview case management system. We are looking for a candidate with a positive personality/outlook on life, ability to work as a team, and willingness to be part of the solution. The ideal candidate must be self-motivated and an independent worker with exceptional communication skills (in-person, phone and electronic). This is a full-time position of 40 hours/week with county benefits (PERS, vacation/sick time accrual and holiday pay). Recovery & Wellness Centers of Midwest Ohio is currently looking to fill Outpatient Therapist positions in our Greenville and Tipp City offices. The candidate will provide behavioral services in an office setting. This position will be full-time.

There is a SIGN ON BONUS of $500 after 6 weeks and another $500 after 6 months.   
 
Job Title: Licensed Mental Health Provider (Office Based)
Reports to: Clinical Director
FLSA Status: Exempt
Employees of Darke County Recovery Services, DBA Recovery & Wellness Centers of Midwest Ohio are expected to value highest ethical standards, quality clinical care, and good customer service. We also value quality communication skills in a collaborative, multi-disciplinary and often multi-agency service environment.
 
Responsibilities
  • Informs clients of limits to confidentiality, rights regarding services delivered, and payment expectations
  • Performs diagnostic assessment, treatment planning, and psychotherapy services within scope of practice in collaboration with clients
  • Completes the Individual Treatment Plan in collaboration with the client before any services are provided
  • Coordinates interventions with a multi-disciplinary treatment team
  • Completes all billable documentation within 24 hours of the service
  • Maintains efficient and timely documentation on all other non-billable services such as referrals, discharges, etc.
  • Integrates services and/or make referrals to appropriate professionals or outside agencies as indicated
  • Participates in the assessment of program needs and peer review, as well as cooperate with performance improvement objectives
  
Required Credentials and Skills
  • Independent Licensure (LISW, LISW-S, LPCC, or Psychologist)
  • Displays good customer service skills with clients and public at large
  • Utilizes computer well enough to perform clinical documentation in Carelogic (MIS system) directly, as well as generate written communication in Microsoft Word or via email

Behavioral Health Counselor (Mental Health and Substance Use)

Opening for an experienced professional to provide outpatient counseling services, primarily for clients in need of mental health services. Client population will include some children and/or adolescents. Experience and proficiency in diagnosing/treating mental health and substance-related issues is preferred and the candidate must be comfortable working with criminal justice clients in the outpatient setting.

*** Please note: appropriate and valid licensure is required for this position.

Knowledge of local resources available to clients in Miami County and surrounding communities is desired. Dual licensure (mental health and substance use disorder) preferred.
