SERIES ONE:
Educating Through an Ongoing Pandemic: Challenges and Insights for Teachers and School Personnel

Ep. 1 -
Pandemic Wellness and Self-Care for Educators.
You can't take care of others if you haven't taken care of yourself. To better help and assist our youth and students, we must prioritize our own wellness and self-care. This session will help participants understand the impact of Pandemic Stress and learn pragmatic techniques to take better care of themselves. 

Ep. 2 -
Understanding the Impact of COVID-19 on Student’s Mental Health.
The coronavirus pandemic has disrupted students' social networks, increased isolation, and put families under stress. Understanding the impact on students can help educators and parents schooling students at home to recognize and respond to challenges. Participants will develop a greater understanding and a deeper insights into how the ongoing Pandemic is significantly impacting the mental and emotional health of youth.

Ep. 3 - Recognizing and Reaching out to Students Struggling. It's not easy to reach out to young people. Knowing how to start fruitful conversations is an important skill for every educator. This session will help participants develop a greater awareness of the signs and symptoms of students struggling with Pandemic Stress and learn effective methods to successfully reach out and support them.

Ep. 4 - Referrals and Leveraging Resources. The participant will learn about evidence-based treatment approaches, levels and types of mental health and emotional assistance, providers, community resources to better support students and their health. Once a need is identified, where do you turn? In this wrap-up session, Dr. Josh walks you through options, from local counseling services to online information.
