Tri-County Board Seeks Education and Outreach Coordinator

The Tri-County Board of Recovery and Mental Health Services is accepting applications for a full-time Education and Outreach Coordinator.

The Education and Outreach Coordinator is a dual role which functions as a strategic operational coordinator and public instructor for the Board’s Community initiatives. They will assist in the planning, development, and implementation of community relations campaigns, marketing efforts, and related events such as county fairs and community prevention activities.

The Education and Outreach Coordinator works with the Associate Director and Chief of Community Engagement to serve as a public face of the organization, delivering educational speeches, leading public tours of the facility, and fielding community questions, and present and facilitate established educational workshops, training sessions, and seminars to the general public and community partners.

The position is full time (40 hours per week) and is office-based in Troy. Salary range: $45,000-$70,000 per year, based on experience and qualifications.

Bachelor’s degree in Communication, Public Relations, Marketing, or related field preferred; or two to four years of blended experience in public speaking/instruction, event planning, community outreach, or facility operations.
